Thursday, May 27, 2004 ( 10:51 PM ) lisa AMI 3 is a lil disappoint. i think it's mainly coz of the contestants. or maybe im not so much of a diva-person. De episode yesterday featured recaps on the previous AMIs. AMI 2... it was so good. Clay just spirited the whole show. Im not a fan-fan. I just love the way Clay sings. It's just so perfect, he lifts u together with the song, plus all de songs he sang were so wonderful as these oldies are. No AMI contestant can beat that. Singapore Idol. Sounds like this: "Oh, ya know ah, that finalist is my cousin's friend!! and she/he's so ...." "I cant stand that guy's accent.. it sounds soo fake" "he's a Rafflesian/ACSian/etc etc. so let's all support him! that's the school spirit!!" "I used to see her at(whereever) everytime" "Man, she was so fat and ugly, she changed so much just for this competition?! (either disgust or awe) and Mainly "I heard..." x100 of the same contestant. Singapore's so small, u just hear of everything and everyone. i'm gonna be part of this too. ahaha. cant wait till the nosy chatter starts. ![]() Sunday, May 23, 2004 ( 11:00 PM ) lisa Saturday night I had dinner @ Lemongrass Restaurant.. man, they haf real good Tom Yam soup. just love everything Thai. Satisfy the watever freak outta me. haha. next we went to some KTV lounge. hmm I RARELY go, coz im a shy, softspoken singer. well, anyways the funny thing was that when mah guy fran went to enquire for a room, he wasnt very well entertained. I guess after trying to get the attention of the disinterested-towards-ppl-of-the-same-sex workers, he was given a time slot of 1130pm. Later, he asked me to ask them again. Well, they were quite attentive and polite to me, considering that I cut the queue. and they gave me the timeslot of 1030pm.. like only a 15min wait. they're soo flexible with things yea. I suppose males attending to a female is like flashing wads of cash infront of their face. Well, sometimes its tougher to be a guy.. but come on, they have the right amount of testosterones to handle things. :: wells, watched Shrek 2, a midnight movie.. its a good movie. Would like to elaborate, but there's dye on mah head and its been on for 1.5 hrs.. is that too long? I hope I dont become a blond. hmm, shall see. ![]() Wednesday, May 19, 2004 ( 10:35 PM ) lisa my fav music now is by JET. Look what you've done. Cold Hard Bitch. yea, rock. Go Aussies, u know howta handle de guit! ![]() Monday, May 17, 2004 ( 9:02 PM ) lisa Coming back fr Aussie requires much adjusting from my body. first and forevermore was the body-hugging humidity that welcomed me back to Singapore. Well done, im sweating like a pig. Then, my face is a quite flushed. dont know why, maybe now blood is flowing back into my face, as the fatty puffiness subside. yes, my face got fatter, in my theory was coz the cold weather caused all fats in me to take their places to do their job. (as proven in the pics we took) Argh, you'd just KNOW how bad the weather here in Spore is when within 7 hours your body try and change to suit the weather. Nopes, I havent stopped complaining. Sorry Mum. How should I tell about my trip? the simple little things I see/hear/do. How would you understand the walks through the botanical gardens or just heading back to where we stayed. How would you understand the skies and oceans that so beautifully appeared in front of my eyes. Or the city lights at night. Or the ohso homely feeling in the suburbs. Or the architecture of the buildings. All these I enjoy, soakin in all things Aussie. yeeah, it was nice. It was just a glimpse of the vast world I've yet to check out. btw, aussie television programmes are good. ahaha. |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||| it's so hot!. soo what else is new here in Spore. I went back to the office, and everything seemed to be the same. Life in the office - you just do your thing at your own space, maybe socialize with your neighbour for a mini break. and then time just creeps by with supersonic speed, next you know you're hunching over your desk, more grouchy than ever. with a spare flab around the waist. PS: relative to what type of job the pple do behind the desk, and comment is purely based on the imagination of the writer. ahah. Darn, i got transferred somewhere else where I work without the connection to the internet. that's such a horrible thing they do to me. oh yea! there's BRrrrrEeeeeezzzzze!!. woohoo. woo hoo. im gonna watch Friends! ![]() Friday, May 07, 2004 ( 10:21 AM ) lisa now in Melbourne, Australia.. it's so true that it's one of the most livable city.. feel like mah heart's taking root here. It's really different to travel at an older age like 19, rather than 10 or 11.. coz you're more knowledgeable, and you tend to think about things.. etc. etc.. well let me go on thinking... heya to peeps @ Singapore.. ![]() Saturday, May 01, 2004 ( 12:25 AM ) lisa just this moment when I feel a bit shitty. There're movies like 50 First dates and upcoming Eternal sunshine of a spotless mind- shows abt memory. I dont want a memory loss, I want to have grown up in a better environment. coz then I'd be a better person I believe... just a wistful kinda thoughts. ++++++++ well, gonna go away from my life for a while... that's quite the point of travelling isnt it? getting outta ya own life to explore others'... if only we can pack and leave as and when we like. trouble-pack and leave. sad-pack and leave. angry-pack and leave. But as they say, running away doesnt solve anything. whatever it is, i'll just have my good Aussie holiday.. God bless this trip. Amen. ![]() |
